Wojciech Dąbrowski has been the president of the management board of PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna SA from February 20, 2020. From November 2017 to February 2020, he was the president of the management board of PGE Energia Ciepła SA, where he conducted the process of integrating Polish heating assets purchased by PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna SA from French EDF. He built a strong business line within the PGE SA Capital Group. In 2019, he carried out the process of integrating heating assets separated as part of the process of integrating assets in the PGE Capital Group. From January 2016 to November 2017, he was the President of the Management Board of PGNiG Termika SA, where, inter alia, carried out the acquisition of PEC Jastrzębie and SEJ Jastrzębie, strengthening the market position of PGNiG Termika. In the years 2011-2016 he was the vice-president of the management board of Zakład Energetyki Cieplnej w Wołominie Sp. z o. o
A graduate of the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Law and Administration, where he obtained a master's degree in law. He also completed post-graduate studies at the Warsaw University of Technology at the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering in the field of Operation of Steam, Gas and Steam-Gas Power Plants and Combined Heat and Power Plants, and at the Kozminski University and the University of Warsaw at the Faculty of Management - Management in Public Administration.
He has many years of experience in working in managerial and managerial positions in central and local government administration. He dealt with investment and legal advice in the field of obtaining funds from the European Union and managing human teams in the implementation of investment projects. He supervised the preparation and implementation of investment and modernization projects as well as M&A projects as well as restructuring and development activities in enterprises improving their functioning and profitability.
In 2019, he was re-elected by the National Assembly of Members of the Polish Society of Professional Heat and Power Plants (PTEZ) as the president of the management board of PTEZ. President of the Management Board of the Polish Electricity Association (PKEE) and Member of the Management Board of the Polish Electricity Association (PKEE) and Member of the Steering Committee for research and development in the area of security and defense of the State National Research and Development Center.
Participant of the public debate on the directions of energy development, environmental protection, waste management and energy security. He was a supporter of active cooperation with the Local Government and local heat distributors, which contributed to the development of the local heat market and the increase in the number of recipients connected to the system, and consequently to the improvement of the quality of the environment and the quality of life of the inhabitants. It supports and promotes cogeneration technology as the most efficient and environmentally safe way to generate electricity and heat. He participates in works on the development of a support system for cogeneration.
