Alexander Allan

Alexander Allan is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with over a decade of experience at Pacific Gas and Electric Company. As Principal Asset Strategy Analyst in Power Generation, Alexander leads economic modeling and analysis for a diverse multibillion-dollar generation portfolio, influencing critical decisions regarding relicensing and investments. Previously, roles included managing procurement filings and compliance within the California Public Utilities Commission, as well as overseeing energy resource forecasting for distributed energy resources. Earlier experience at UC Davis involved conducting research on energy storage technologies and modeling interactions between electric-drive vehicles and the electricity grid.
