Rico Fasel has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry. Rico is currently the Manager Fiduciary Advice and Client Chief Investment Officer at PGGM, where they lead a team in providing tailored investment products and solutions. Prior to this, Rico held various roles at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., including Country Manager Investment Advice & Execution Only, Board Member Global Investment Committee, and Head of Investment Advice. Before joining ABN AMRO Bank N.V., Rico worked at MeesPierson as the Head of Investment Advice and Global Investment Services Manager. Rico also served as the Head of International Investment Advisory Operations and worked as a Senior Wealth/Investment Manager. Rico began their career at Generale Bank as an Asset Manager for Wealth Management & Institutional Clients. Throughout their career, Rico has demonstrated expertise in investment strategy, product management, and client service.
Rico Fasel has a Master's degree in Business/Managerial Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam. Rico also obtained a RBA degree in Investment Management (Dutch CFA) from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam). In terms of additional certifications, they have completed the Client Centric Innovation program from Nyenrode Business Universiteit and The Investment Professional of the Future program from INSEAD. Rico also holds certifications in Agile Scrum Master, Consultative Selling, and DSI registration for investment advice and asset management. Additionally, they have earned a Drs degree from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a post-doctorate degree in Investment Management VBA (EFFAS) from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam).

Op 31 december 2020 beheerden we 266 miljard euro aan pensioenvermogen en administreerden pensioen voor 4,4 miljoen deelnemers.
