Jason Appleson

Jason Appleson, CFA, FRM has extensive experience in the finance industry. Jason currently holds the position of Managing Director and Head of Municipal Bonds at PGIM Fixed Income. Prior to this, they served as a Portfolio Manager at PTAM for eight years. Jason also worked as a Credit Risk Associate at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and as a High Yield Municipal Credit Analyst and Associate at AllianceBernstein. Their career began with an internship as a Currency Research Intern at FXCM.

Jason Appleson, CFA, FRM holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, which they obtained from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their B.S. in Finance at Touro University from 2006 to 2008. In addition to their academic achievements, Jason has also obtained the Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification from the GARP FRM Program in 2013 and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute in 2011.
