Prabha Shanker

Prabha Shanker has extensive work experience in the finance industry, spanning over 19 years. They have held various roles and responsibilities in different companies. From 1997 to 2000, Prabha worked as a Finance Executive at Bombay Dyeing and Manufacturing Company Ltd. In 2000, they joined Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Company Ltd., where they served as an Associate Vice President. In this role, they managed the liabilities side of the mutual fund operations and played a key role in new initiatives and process design. From 2007 to 2022, Prabha worked as a Process Consultant in the financial services space. They have experience in operations, process review, and new businesses in the financial services sector. Prabha Shanker is currently working as the Head of Risk Management at PGIM India Mutual Fund since 2022.

Prabha Shanker obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from SIES College of Arts, Science & Commerce in Mumbai, India from 1991 to 1994. Following this, Shanker pursued further education at K.J. Somaiya Institute Of Management Studies and Research, Mumbai University from 1995 to 1997, completing a Master's Degree in Management Studies (MMS) with a focus on Finance.
