Andrzej Bulanowski is a graduate of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatics and Electronics at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków and MBA-based Postgraduate Management Studies at the Warsaw School of Economics.
He began his career in the industrial sector in 1990. From the very beginning of his career he held managerial positions, leading commercial teams in the industry of steel products.

PGO SA, formerly Polska Grupa Odlewnicza SA, is a Poland-based company active in the production of iron castings. Among the Company's products are grey irons ductile cast irons, alloy cast irons, abrasion-resistant cast irons, high-alloy irons and low-alloy cast irons, among others. The Company's steel castings are manufactured from structural cast carbon steels; abrasion-resistant, heat-resisting and creep-resisting structural alloy cast steels; as well as from low-alloy cast steels. In addition, the offer of the Company includes: the manufacturing and adapting wooden, resin and metal patterns; services like machining and heat treatment; as well as services for constructions; and laboratory services. Polska Grupa Odlewnicza Capital Group consists of PGO SA, Odlewnia Zeliwa Srem SA and Pioma-Odlewnia Sp z o o. TDJ SA, an indirect majority shareholder of the Company, takes over control of Fugo SA, Famak SA and Fugo Odlew Sp z o o (FUGO Group).
