Dean Ruark P.e.

Dean Ruark, P.E. has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Dean is currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering & Innovation at PGT Innovations since January 2018. Prior to this, they worked at PGT Industries from 2008 to 2018, where they held several positions including Director of Product Management, Area Leader, Code Compliance Manager, and Product Engineer. In these roles, they were responsible for leading design engineering teams, ensuring code compliance, and managing the testing and certification of PGT products. Before joining PGT Industries, Dean worked as a Structural Engineer at Snell Engineering Consultants, Inc. where they designed residential and commercial structures in Florida's Windborne Debris Region. Dean has expertise in various design materials including concrete, masonry, steel, wood, and aluminum.

Dean Ruark, P.E. obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering from the University of South Florida, where they attended from 2002 to 2006. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of Florida, completing their studies from 2014 to 2016.
