Maia Murphy is a seasoned professional in the fields of publishing and contemporary art, currently serving as a Senior Editor at Phaidon since June 2021. Prior experience includes roles as the Manager of Publications and Editor at Asia Society from December 2018 to June 2021, and as Program Manager focused on global marine conservation at Wildlife Conservation Society from December 2015 to December 2018. Maia spent eight years at Recess, first as Program Director, managing artist programs and collaborations with prominent institutions, and later as an Advisory Board Member.
