Spencer Bailey

Spencer Bailey is a Co-Founder at The Slowdown, an Editor-at-Large at Phaidon, and a Contributing Editor at Town & Country for Hearst Magazines. Previously, Spencer served as the Editor-in-Chief at Surface Magazine and held various editorial roles at The New York Times, Bloomberg, The Daily Beast, Vanity Fair, and Esquire magazine. Spencer also worked as a visiting faculty member at the School of Visual Arts. Spencer holds a M.S. in Journalism from Columbia University and a B.A. in English and Creative Writing from Dickinson College.
