Enric Herrero

Enric Herrero has a diverse work experience. Enric started their career as a Visiting Researcher at the University of California at San Diego, where they collaborated on research projects related to energy-efficient designs for multiprocessor memory controllers. Enric then worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. After that, Herrero joined Intel as a Senior Research Scientist, where they focused on generating intellectual property for novel microarchitectures and worked specifically on hardware accelerators for perceptual computing applications. During their time at Intel, they contributed to the creation of 16 patents in the fields of neural network accelerators and microprocessor reliability. Currently, Herrero is the CTO and Co-founder of Pharmacelera, where they lead the development of software tools for drug discovery research. These tools are accessible as standalone solutions, SaaS, and through partner platforms like KNIME.
