J.W. Hill, MBAHCM, CNED is Executive Vice President & GM with the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP). Under the direction of the President & CEO, Hill oversees and is responsible for all day-to-day business of the organization and leads the executive management team in achieving financial goals and operational performance; and provides strategic support to NCPDP’s President & CEO.
Before joining NCPDP staff, Hill held several volunteer positions with NCPDP: Board of Trustee Chair, Board of Trustee Vice-Chair, Chair of Strategic Planning Committee, and Work Group 9 –Government Programs Co-Chair, to name a few. He was previously Vice President, Business Planning for DST Pharmacy Solutions, Inc. During his 24-year tenure with DST, Hill had multiple leadership roles that included oversight of P&L and business development for DST’s customers supporting over 27 million lives, enterprise marketing strategy, and product development. In addition, Hill was DST’s Healthcare business lead in managing the company’s Asia healthcare expansion for medical and pharmacy claims processing capabilities and services.
Hill is a current member of American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and is a past professional member of Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) and Pharmacy Benefit Management Institute (PBMI). He is a published author in Chain Drug Review and Executive Insight, and has represented NCPDP and DST in Washington, D.C. Hill has a BA in Communication Studies from University of Missouri and an MBA in Healthcare Management from University of Phoenix. In 2019, Hill received his certification as a Non-Profit Executive Director from NonProfit WebAdvisor.
