Lou Dallago is currently the Vice President, of the US Trade Group at Pfizer. Lou joined Pfizer in 2003, as part of the Pfizer acquisition of Pharmacia. Lou has been on the manufacturer side of the healthcare business for over 35 years. Starting his career with G.D. Searle as a field sales representative in 1983, Lou progressed through a series of sales, marketing and operations positions. In 1996, Lou built and led a team of Account Managers responsible retail accounts in the US. In 2000, Lou was promoted to a National Account Director, responsible for national wholesale and retail accounts in the US market. From 2003 through 2013, Lou managed a team of National Account Directors for the Pfizer US Trade Group. In 2013, Lou was promoted to Vice President of the US Trade Group.
The Pfizer Trade Group has responsibility for the wholesale and retail distribution channels within the US. The Trade Group consists of an Account Management Team, a Channel Marketing Team, a Pharmacy Development Team and an Operations Support Team. The various teams support the safe and efficient distribution of product through the wholesale and retail channels, as well as providing patient support programs. For the last 15 years, Lou has been leading the efforts within Pfizer to improve patient engagement through partnerships and program development with pharmacy channels.
In addition to Lou’s responsibilities at Pfizer, he is a member of the NACDS Foundation Board of Directors. He is a graduate of Ursinus College where he earned a B.A. degree in Economics and Business Administration. Lou is based in the Pfizer office in Collegeville, PA.
