Rafael Dugarte

Rafael Dugarte, MBA, MA, currently serves as the Head of Finance at Pharmacyclics, an AbbVie Company, since May 2021. Prior to this role, Dugarte held significant positions at Novartis, including Director of Financial Planning and Analytics and Head of Finance and Project Management Office for the Central American Cluster from 2014 to August 2021. Dugarte’s career also includes experience as a Senior Corporate Auditor at CEMEX, Financial Controlling and Quality Assurance Assistant Manager at Citi, and Financial Assurance External Auditor at Price Waterhouse Coopers. Dugarte holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from IE Business School, a Master of Arts in Finance from Nottingham University Business School, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello.
