Marta Westwood

Marta Westwood is a highly experienced professional in the field of biophysics with a robust background in drug discovery services. Currently serving as Director/Senior Principal Scientist at Pharmaron Limited since August 2021, Marta previously held the role of Associate Director/Principal Scientist at the same company. Prior experience includes a position as Research Leader at Charles River Laboratories from November 2019 to July 2021, where Marta provided scientific leadership, developed biophysical assays, and engaged with clients. At UCB from October 2011 to November 2019, Marta advanced from Senior Scientist to Principal Scientist, focusing on compound binding kinetics and employing various biophysical methods. Marta's early career involved a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Institute of Food Research from June 2007 to September 2011. Education includes a Master's degree in Materials Science from Wrocław University of Science and Technology and a PhD in Nanomaterials from Cranfield University.
