Panagiotis Theofrastou

Panagiotis Theofrastou has extensive experience in tax and investment laws. Panagiotis worked as Head of Tax & Investment Laws at Pharmathen from 2018 to present, where they managed international tax projects and provided consultation on M&A and divestiture activities. Panagiotis also worked as an International Tax Lead at Pharmathen from 2020 to 2023, where they focused on customs compliance, supply chain planning, and finance analysis. Prior to Pharmathen, Panagiotis worked at Mondelēz International as a Senior VAT Analyst, overseeing VAT compliance for the EU region and driving harmonization in VAT processes. Panagiotis also worked as a VAT Analyst at Mondelēz International and had roles related to tax consulting and accounting services at XAR. THEOFRASTOU & SIA OE and as a Business Consultant as a self-employed individual. Panagiotis began their career as a Logistics Manager Assistant at Greek PPC.

Panagiotis Theofrastou obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Macedonia from 2004 to 2009. In 2009, they briefly attended the University of Orebro in the field of Business Administration and Management. Later, from 2013 to 2015, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) in Business Administration and Management from Hellenic Open University.
