YeeJu Chen

YeeJu Chen has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. YeeJu began their career as a pharmacist at NTUC Unity Healthcare Co-operative Limited in 1997, and later went on to start their own pharmacy businesses, Homehealth Pharmacy Pte Ltd and Homehealth Pharmacy (Serangoon) Pte Ltd. As the Managing Director of these companies, they handled day-to-day operations, sales, and administrative tasks in addition to serving as a retail pharmacist.

In 2005, YeeJu joined Watsons Singapore as a Pharmacy Manager and later became a Merchandise Manager, responsible for category management and marketing of health and pharmacy products. YeeJu organized health activities and workshops to increase awareness of the brand.

From 2008 to 2014, YeeJu worked at the National University of Singapore as a Senior Manager, where they planned, coordinated, and managed academic programs and executive courses for the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, and Regulatory Affairs industry. YeeJu also collaborated with industry leaders and academic institutions to execute various programs.

In 2014, YeeJu briefly worked as a Corporate Wellness Manager at CXA, a start-up focused on integrating wellness solutions in the workplace through an employee portal.

YeeJu then joined Eli Lilly and Company in 2014 as a Pharmacist, where they were responsible for quality management, compounding, and dispensing of clinical trial Investigational Products (IP) in adherence to GCP guidelines.

Since 2015, YeeJu has been at PharmEng Technology, where they currently serve as the Managing Director and Business Development Lead. YeeJu has also held the role of Managing Consultant, Regional Regulatory Affairs, overseeing the company's regulatory affairs, QA services, and professional training businesses in Southeast Asia's pharmaceutical and regulated life science sectors. YeeJu managed existing accounts, developed new accounts and partners, and provided regulatory support to clients on market access and compliance. Additionally, they managed a Virtual Regulatory Affairs Department for multiple clients and coordinated regulatory submissions in various countries.

YeeJu Chen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the National University of Singapore. YeeJu attended Hwa Chong Junior College for their pre-university education and Nanyang Girls' High School for their secondary education. YeeJu completed their primary education at Raffles Girls' Primary School. Additionally, YeeJu Chen has obtained various certifications in areas such as health insurance, pharmaceutical regulatory affairs, clinical diabetes management, and project leadership, among others. These certifications were obtained from institutions such as the Singapore College of Insurance Ltd, PharmEng Technology, TransCelerate Biopharma, Inc., NUS Academy of GxP Excellence, and Coursera, among others.
