James DePoy has held a variety of roles in the tech industry since 1997. James began their career as a Product Manager at Colorbus in 1997. In 2000, they moved to Canon where they held the roles of Manager of Business Development / Alliances and Senior Product Manager. In 2007, they joined Microsoft as the Director of Technical Strategy Officer. In 2009, they founded and became CEO of appAttach, which was later acquired by SweetLabs in 2015. At SweetLabs they served as Vice President and Advisor. In 2017, they joined Vulcan Inc. as Principal Product Manager and currently serves as both CEO and Chief Strategy Officer at PharmID.
James DePoy attended Virginia Tech from 1988 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
