Amanda Harrington

Amanda Harrington, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of Health Economics and Outcomes Research. Amanda is currently serving as the Senior Director of Health Economics and Outcomes Research at Pharming Group N.V. Prior to this, they worked at AbbVie as the Director of HEOR Strategy Psychiatry Lead and as an Associate Director of Health Economics and Outcomes Research. Amanda also has experience at Allergan, where they held positions as an Associate Director, Senior Manager, and Manager in the Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research department. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Arizona Medication Management Center and the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy. Amanda also gained experience as an Intern at Allergan and as a Research Associate at Matrix45 Evidence-Based Healthcare Consultant Group.

Amanda Harrington, PhD, received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physiological Sciences from the University of Arizona in 2008. Amanda then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Pharmaceutical Economics, Policy, and Outcomes Research from the same university, graduating in 2012. Amanda continued their education at the University of Arizona and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Pharmaceutical Economics, Policy, and Outcomes Research in 2016. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Amanda attended Seton Catholic High School.
