David Bear, MD

Dr. David Bear has an extensive work experience in the medical field. In 2006, they founded and served as the Chief Medical Officer of Covectra, Inc. In 2008, they were appointed Chairman and Chief Medical Officer of PharmoRx Therapeutics, Inc. In 2010, they founded and served as the Chairman of Board of MedSentry, Inc. Most recently, they were appointed Chairman of Ergot Biosciences in 2022.

David Bear, MD received their Doctor of Medicine - MD from Harvard Medical School in 1971. Prior to this, they obtained their BA; MD from Harvard University in 1968-1971, and attended Western Reserve Academy from 1956-1961. Additionally, they are a Distinguished Fellow of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
