Aerospace Systems Engineer at Phase Four

Josh Synowiec has held a variety of roles in the engineering field since 2011. Josh began their career as a Metrologist Summer Intern for Dimensional Measurement, Inc. in 2011. Josh then moved on to a role as a Senior Site Rover for Information and Technology Services at the University of Michigan in the same year. In 2013, they became a Research Assistant at the Michigan Exploration Laboratory. Josh also held a position as a Graduate Student Instructor and Lab Aid at the University of Michigan in 2014. In 2015, they began working as an Aerospace Systems Engineer for PhaseFour, Inc. and currently holds the role of Engineer in Research / Laboratory Manager at the University of Michigan College of Engineering.

Josh Synowiec obtained an Associate's degree in Engineering from Schoolcraft College. Josh then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, which they completed in 2014. Subsequently, they earned a Master's degree in Aerospace Dynamics and Control from the University of Michigan in 2015. Josh also holds an Amateur Radio Operator - Technician Class certification from the Federal Communications Commission.
