Research Associate III at Phase Genomics

Lauren Burgess has a diverse work experience in the scientific and medical fields. Starting in 2019, they worked at Phase Genomics, where they began as a Research Intern, gaining knowledge and skills in genomic analysis and genome assembly. Lauren later advanced to the role of Research Associate I, where they focused on utilizing next-generation sequencing technology for processing customer samples and improving protocols. In their most recent role at Phase Genomics as a Research Associate II, they demonstrated mastery in next-generation sequencing library quality control and operation of sequencing instruments.

Additionally, Lauren has experience at MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital as an Infectious Disease Medical Scribe, where they accurately documented provider-patient interactions and assisted with administrative tasks to enhance efficiency.
