Qi (Gavin) Wang's work experience includes the following roles:

- R&D Director at PHASE Scientific International Limited, where they are responsible for product development and strategic planning for the China market and globally, focusing on POCT for infectious disease and liquid biopsy for cancer diagnostics.

- Chief Investigator at Wondfo, where they served from June 2021 to November 2021.

- R&D Manager at GeneMind Biosciences, where they were the core investigator for developing the single molecule sequencing system GenoCare and the next-generation sequencing system GenoLab.

- R&D Manager at SigmaGraft, Inc., where they worked on projects for developing new biomaterial/medical device products, and also served as a Research Scientist.

Qi (Gavin) Wang completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2010. Qi (Gavin) then pursued a Master of Science degree in Chemistry/Biomedical Engineering from Brown University, which they completed in 2012. Later, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Bioengineering from Northeastern University in 2015.
