Vishal Sharma

Vishal Sharma, Ph.D., currently serves as the Policy and Research Grants Lead at Phasecraft since May 2025. Prior experience includes a tenure as Program Director at the National Science Foundation from August 2022 to May 2025, and a role as Science and Technology Policy Fellow at AAAS from September 2020 to August 2022. Previous positions include Designer/Researcher at NVS Studio, Research Fellow at the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies, and Graduate Research Assistant at The George Washington University, where Vishal also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Early in the career, Vishal was a Research Assistant at Children's National Health System. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Genetics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, both obtained from The George Washington University, from 2012 to 2017 and earlier, respectively.
