Kristen Smeltz

Kristen Smeltz has a strong background in internal audit, with their most recent role being Vice President Internal Audit at PHEAA since July 2021. Prior to that, they held the positions of Internal Audit Director from October 2016 to July 2021, and Internal Audit Manager from May 2010 to October 2016, all within PHEAA. Before joining PHEAA, they worked as a Manager at Maher Duessel, CPAs from March 2009 to May 2010. Kristen began their career at KPMG LLP as an Audit Manager from October 2002 to March 2009.

Kristen Smeltz received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from Susquehanna University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002.
