Suzana Kahn has a wealth of work experience in the field of biology. Suzana has worked for several companies and universities, beginning in 2006 when they were a PhD student at Université Paris-Sorbonne. In 2010, they became a Postdoctoral Scholar at UFRJ - Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. In 2012, they were a Scientist I at the National Institute for Traumatology and Orthopedics, where they established a line of research in oncology in a Private Company, worked linking surgeons and laboratory members, and mentored two master students and one PhD student. From 2013-2017, they were a Pew Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University, where they discovered and targeted a cellular pathway responsible for medulloblastoma metastasis, studied immuno-oncology combination therapies, and researched the role of myeloid cells in tumor progression. From 2017-2021, they worked at Bristol Myers Squibb as a Senior Scientist, Group and Project Leader, and Research Investigator I and II. Suzana is currently employed at Genentech as a Senior Scientist and at Pheast Therapeutics as the Director of Biology.
Suzana Kahn attended Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro from 2002 to 2005, where they earned a Magna Cum Laude Academic Degree in Bachelor in Science in Biomedical Sciences, General. Suzana then attended Universit\u00e9 Paris-Sorbonne from 2006 to 2010 and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Oncology and Cancer Biology. From 2013 to 2016, they studied Cancer Research and Immunology at Stanford University. In 2016, they completed a Stanford Ignite, Certificate Program in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
