Bill Wishon

Bill Wishon has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Bill'smost recent position was as the Chief Product Officer at Phenix Real Time Solutions, where they started in June 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Akamai Technologies, first as a Senior Product Manager from March 2009 to March 2015, and then as a Senior Architect in the Media Office of the CTO from April 2015 to March 2018. Before joining Akamai, they were the Director of Marketing at Kontiki (now Kollective) from May 2008 to February 2009. Bill also held various roles at VeriSign, including Industry Marketing for Media and Entertainment from November 2006 to May 2008, and Senior Product Manager from April 2005 to November 2006. In addition, they worked as a Technical Sales Engineer at LightSurf from May 2003 to April 2005. Before that, they were a Cofounder/Senior Sales Engineer/Lead Software Engineer at PictureIQ from September 1998 to April 2003. Bill'searliest job was as a Software Engineer at Adobe Systems Inc. from January 1998 to September 1998, where they worked on applying core Adobe imaging code to new markets and contributed to the creation of a standardized build system.

Bill Wishon has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Bill also studied Computer Science at Lafayette College. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certification in Pragmatic Marketing from Pragmatic Marketing in November 2014.
