Richard Lin

Richard Lin serves as a Venture Analyst at Aquillius Ventures and is a Board Member at BioXceed Innovation Hub, which supports the development of biologic therapeutics. Richard is an Investor with the San Diego Angel Conference and provides advisory services at PhenoVista Biosciences and VisiCELL Medical Inc., the latter focusing on imaging tools for biopharmaceutical product development. Richard has held various advisory roles, including with the Southern California Biotech Center and the Scripps Mercy Hospital Foundation, where contributions were made to training programs and community healthcare initiatives. As Chairman of the BIOCOM CRO Initiative, Richard promoted the growth of contract research organizations. Richard founded Explora BioLabs, which grew to multiple facilities and supported preclinical research for biotech companies. Richard also contributed to LaunchBio Inc. as Chairman of the Board, nurturing high-impact life science ventures. Richard obtained a PhD in Cancer Biology/Physiology from the University of California, Berkeley, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at UC San Diego.
