Macy Floyd is currently serving as the Fundraising Chair for SolarEquity's marketing committee, where responsibilities include leading fundraising efforts, designing infographics, and collaborating on educational blog posts about renewable energy legislation. As a summer intern at the Environmental Justice Community Action Network, Macy organizes public events and aids in environmental monitoring efforts. Macy also works as a lifeguard and swim coach for the Town of Chapel Hill, ensuring the safety and cleanliness of pool facilities. Previous experience includes working as a summer camp counselor and serving on the North Carolina Youth Advocacy Council, advocating for social and governmental equity. Macy Floyd is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
