Joshua Gates

Joshua Gates has a diverse work experience, spanning from 2006 to the present. Joshua started their career in the military as a Provisional Platoon Commander in the United States Marine Corps. Joshua then served in various positions as a Naval Aviator and CH-53E Pilot, including roles as Ground Safety-OSHA Officer, Future-Current Operations Officer, and Director of Safety and Standardization. During this time, they also worked as an Aviation Exercise Planner, where they planned and coordinated large-scale aviation exercises. After leaving the military, they worked as a Financial Advisor for Edward Jones, where they successfully managed over 160 clients and added $6 million to their branch. Joshua also worked for PHI Inc as a Bell 407 Captain, where they transported personnel and equipment to offshore locations. Their most recent position was with PHI Aviation as a Base/Area Operations Manager and Shell Aviation Program Manager, where they managed aviation operations, coordinated maintenance schedules, and oversaw cargo/baggage loading, refueling, and passenger management. With their vast experience in aviation and leadership roles, Joshua Gates has developed strong operational and management skills.

Joshua Gates earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance from Louisiana Tech University from 2002 to 2006. In 2013, they attended the Naval School of Aviation Safety, where they focused on the field of study in Aviation Safety. Furthermore, they obtained a Commercial Pilot Single and Multi-Engine Helicopter and Single Engine Plane certification from the United States Federal Aviation Administration in January 2018.
