Check Airman at PHI

Scott Clancy has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Scott began their career in 2007 as a flight instructor at Mazzei Flying Service. In 2010, they joined PHI Inc, where they served as an AW139/H145 check airman, H145 project lead, and IFR captain. In 2014, they took on the role of Engineering R&D Technician at Carbon3D, Inc. Their responsibilities there lasted until September 2020. Additionally, in 2015, they became an AW139 Contract Pilot at Solairus Aviation.

Scott Clancy began their education at Live Oak High School where they obtained their GED in 2003. Scott then attended Gavilan College from 2003 to 2004 and Evergreen Valley College from 2004 to 2005. In 2005, they enrolled in Mazzei's Flight School, where they studied Airline/Commercial/Professional Pilot and Flight Crew until 2007.

In terms of additional certifications, Scott Clancy obtained several qualifications from the Federal Aviation Administration in September 2016. These include a Certified Flight Instructor CFI Helicopter, a Certified Flight Instructor Instrument CFII Helicopter, and a Remote Pilot Certificate. While there is mention of an Airline Transport Pilot certification, the obtained month and year for this certification are not provided.
