Manny Smith

Manny Smith serves as the Vice President of Digital at the Philadelphia Association of Black Journalists (PABJ), focusing on digital growth strategies for the organization. With extensive experience in editorial management, Manny held the position of Senior Editorial Manager at Yahoo, where responsibilities included driving editorial content across various platforms. Previously, Manny was the Managing Editor at CBS Philly|KYW-TV, leading daily editorial processes, and has also served as Assignment Editor at NBC News and NBC 10 Philadelphia, where breaking news coverage was a key focus. Manny's leadership experience extends to a term as President of the PABJ, advocating for journalists of color. Other roles include Public Information Manager at SEPTA and various editorial and production roles at MailOnline, DiversityInc, and CNBC. Manny graduated from Fordham University in 2014.
