Shavon Norris is an accomplished Organizational Consultant and Facilitator with extensive experience in fostering inclusivity and trauma-informed practices across diverse organizations. Currently engaged with Tierney, Spiral Q Puppet Theater, Painted Bride Art Center, Asian Arts Initiative, Opera Philadelphia, TEAM SUNSHINE PERFORMANCE CORPORATION, and Stockton Rush Bartol Foundation, Shavon Norris specializes in creating workshops, performances, and curricula that emphasize healing and community engagement. Additionally, Shavon Norris serves as Adjunct Faculty at Temple University and Thomas Jefferson University, teaching courses in dance and creativity. The academic background includes a Master of Fine Arts in Dance and Choreography from Temple University and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Manhattanville University.

Since 2016, we have offered a robust program of pop-up exhibitions and performances across the Philadelphia area in collaboration with various partner organizations, while working towards building a new permanent home. Philadelphia Contemporary is a non-profit 501(c)(3).
