Alan Wolking

Director, College Scouting at Philadelphia Eagles

Alan Wolking enters his 10th overall season with the Philadelphia Eagles. Wolking was promoted to director of college scouting during the 2020 offseason after spending the previous two years (2018-19) as the assistant director of college scouting.

Wolking originally joined the Eagles' scouting department in 2011 as the club's Midwest area scout and spent two seasons in the role before being named Southeast area scout in 2013.

Prior to joining Philadelphia's player evaluation staff, Wolking was a graduate assistant coach at Northwestern University, where he worked with the defensive backs from 2008-10. He also served as a quality control coach, coordinating scout team offense and special teams units, while also preparing scouting reports.

A native of Hudson, OH, Wolking served Ohio State's athletic department in various capacities while attending graduate school in 2007. In addition, Wolking coached high school football at Walter Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL) and Upper Arlington (Columbus, OH) high schools from 2003-2007. He received his undergraduate degree in business from Ohio State University and attended graduate school at OSU and Northwestern University.

Born on September 17, 1979 in Covington, KY, Wolking and his wife, Heather, currently reside in Charlotte, NC, and have one daughter, Kate, and one son, Will.
