Currently serving as the Artistic Director and Senior Director of Programming at the Philadelphia Film Society since June 2009, Michael has also held significant roles such as Co-Director at the Overlook Film Festival and Director/Writer/Producer/Editor at Tiger Industry Films. Previous positions include Co-Lead on Special Presentations and International Programmer for the U.S. at the Toronto International Film Festival, Artistic Director at the Palm Springs International Film Society, and Senior Programmer at Montclair Film Festival Inc. Michael’s educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Film from Bard College and a High School Diploma from Milton Academy.
