Rob Baer is an experienced professional in community relations and event management within the hockey industry, currently serving as Event Manager for the Philadelphia Flyers Alumni Association since August 2015. In this role, Rob is responsible for organizing and executing various fundraising events for Flyers Alumni. As Director of Community Relations and Hockey Development at the Philadelphia Flyers since April 2009, Rob has developed important relationships within the local amateur hockey community, promoting initiatives such as the Flyers Cup Scholastic Championships and Flyers Learn to Play Rookie Program. Previously, as Fan Development Manager from July 2001 to April 2009, Rob focused on grassroots initiatives to expand the sport's reach, particularly among youth. Rob holds a BA in Communications from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
