Lauren King

Lauren King has extensive experience in communications and media, with a focus on luxury real estate and high-end products. Lauren has worked for Philadelphia Gas Works since 2011, starting as a Communications Specialist and progressing to roles such as Internal Communications Manager and Manager of Corporate Communications. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Internal Communications & Customer Messaging. Additionally, King worked as a Freelance Writer for duPont REGISTRY Media from 2014 to 2016, where they created content for both print and social media platforms. Prior to that, they were an Assistant Editor at Unique Homes Luxury Media from 2009 to 2011, overseeing advertising and marketing resources. King began their career as an Editorial/Advertising Coordinator at Network Communications, Inc., where they managed advertising content for Unique Homes magazine and pitched luxury real estate stories for publication.

Lauren King attended Rider University from 2003 to 2007, where they pursued a degree in Journalism with a focus on public relations, news editorial, marketing, and advertising. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including Core Class 2023 from LEADERSHIP Philadelphia in 2022, PRSA Philly Pepperpot Award Winner from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Philadelphia Chapter in both 2018 and 2016, Nancy Bacher Long PR Institute from PRSA in 2013, FEMA - Emergency Management Institute in 2013, and Storytelling: Tapping the Power of Narrative from The Goodman Center in 2012.
