Ian Hennessy is a seasoned soccer strategist and coach, currently serving as the Development Squad Strategist & Coach/College Soccer Advisor for Philadelphia Union since April 2022. Hennessy has also been the Head Soccer Coach at the University of Delaware since March 2006 and previously held the position of Assistant Soccer Coach at Boston College from July 2002 to February 2006. In addition to a robust coaching career, Hennessy holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from Columbia University Medical Center, completed between 1996 and 2001, and a BS in Biology from Seton Hall University, earned from 1986 to 1990.
