Stephen Cavalier

Stephen Cavalier has a diverse range of work experience in the sports industry. Stephen began their career in 2008 as the Head Coach Soccer Coach for the lower school at Wilmington Friends School. From 2009 to 2011, they served as an Assistant Soccer Coach at Salesianum School. In 2009, they also became involved with the Delaware Rush Soccer Club, where they held various roles including Director of Youth Development, Director of Coaching, and Camp Director. During their time at the Delaware Rush Soccer Club, they also served as an Assistant Coach for the U15 boys team and as the Head Coach for the U17 girls team.

In 2015, Stephen founded the Future Soccer Stars Foundation, an organization that aims to provide opportunities and teach valuable life lessons to children through soccer. In the same year, they joined the Philadelphia Union as a Talent Identification Scout and later became a Union Juniors Staff Coach until 2018.

In 2016, Stephen worked briefly as an Academy Trainer PDP at YSC Sports/Philadelphia Union. Stephen then joined the University of Delaware as the Director of Operations from 2017 to 2020. In 2018, they also began working as the General Manager for BPG | Sports, a sports management and investment company that provides comprehensive sports experiences. Stephen was involved in projects such as Chase Fieldhouse, a multi-purpose sports complex, and youth training center.

In 2020, Stephen took on the role of General Manager for Sporting Delaware, a Soccer Club that offers top-notch soccer experiences. Throughout their career, Stephen has demonstrated a passion for soccer and a commitment to promoting wellness, sportsmanship, and community building.

Stephen Cavalier has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Communications in Interpersonal from the University of Delaware. Stephen also holds a USSF "A" National Coaching License from the United States Soccer Federation. In 2015, they obtained an additional certification called USSF A License from the United States Soccer Federation.
