Katherine Perry has a diverse work experience that includes roles in education, theater, and sales.
Starting in 2012, Katherine worked as a Group Sales Associate and later as a Front of House Assistant at the Arden Theatre Company. In these roles, they were responsible for managing group sales, issuing contracts, and assisting with performances.
From 2012 to 2014, Katherine served as the Director of Audience Services & Engagement at the Simpatico Theatre Project, where they were involved in managing audience services and engaging with theater-goers.
In 2014, Katherine joined Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics North America, where they held several positions including Sales Ambassador, Social Media Manager, Private Events Manager, and Floor Leader. In these roles, they managed the shop floor, created digital content, trained staff, and maintained the brand's social media presence.
From 2015 to 2016, Katherine served as the Director of Education at White Pines Productions, where they designed and managed educational programming, handled patron communication, managed budgets, and ensured a safe learning environment.
In 2016, Katherine began working as a Teaching Artist at the Walnut Street Theatre, where they collaborated with educators, developed and implemented curriculum, and taught theater to students.
Katherine also has experience as a Teaching Artist at Philadelphia Young Playwrights in 2016, where they developed lesson plans and implemented trauma-informed teaching strategies.
In 2017, Katherine worked as a Teaching Artist at 1812 Productions, where they collaborated with school educators, created curriculum, and organized end-of-year performances.
In 2020, Katherine joined The Unscripted Project as a Teaching Artist, and in 2021, they joined the HMS School for Children with Cerebral Palsy as an Enrichment Specialist. In these roles, they provided support, facilitated activities, and developed lessons for students.
Throughout their career, Katherine has demonstrated a passion for education, theater, and creating engaging experiences for students and audiences.
Katherine Perry (they/she) pursued their education from 2006 to 2010 at Lehigh University. During this time, they graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree, with a focus on Theatre, Psychology, and Business.
