Josh Schmidt

Josh Schmidt has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Josh began their career in 2009 as an Associate at Dechert LLP, where they worked until 2015. Following that, they joined InterDigital, Inc. as an Assistant General Counsel from 2015 to 2018, then became an Associate General Counsel from 2018 to 2020, and later served as the Vice President and Deputy General Counsel from 2020 to 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary at InterDigital, Inc. In addition to their work at InterDigital, Inc., Josh also had roles at Philadelphia Youth Network as a Director starting in 2019 and at LEADERSHIP Philadelphia as a Core Leadership Fellow from 2018 to 2019.

Josh Schmidt pursued their education chronologically, beginning with their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance, General at the University of Pittsburgh from 2002 to 2006. Following this, they attended Duke University School of Law from 2006 to 2009, focusing on their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
