James Philbin

James Philbin is the founder of Philbin Law Firm, PLLC, established in May 2017, specializing in litigation, compliance, corporate governance, risk management, international and domestic investigations, and labor and employment. Philbin has served as a board member for the Board of Advisors of NYU’s Center for Labor and Employment Law since January 2018 and held the position of counsel at Faegre Baker Daniels LLP from December 2018 to March 2020. Prior experience includes serving as President and General Counsel at A.P. Moller - Maersk from January 2006 to January 2018 and as a partner at Morgan Lewis LLP from August 1992 to December 2005. Previously, Philbin owned a general dentistry practice, James P Philbin DDS, from May 1982 to June 1989. Educational qualifications include a JD from New York University School of Law, a DDS from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, and a BS in Biology from the University of Notre Dame.
