Kalyn Fay Barnoski

Assistant Curator of Native Art at Philbrook Museum of Art

Kalyn Fay Barnoski is an artist with a wide range of work experience. Kalyn Fay currently holds the role of Andrew W. Mellon Curatorial Fellow of Native Art at the Philbrook Museum of Art and Arts and Social Impact Accelerator Program Artist at the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. Previously, they were an Adjunct Faculty and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Arkansas, a Curatorial Intern at Art Bridges Foundation, a Native American Fellow at the Peabody Essex Museum, an Adjunct Faculty at Rogers State University, a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Oklahoma State University, a Graphic Designer and Graduate Assistant at the University of Tulsa, an In House Graphic Designer, Window Artist, and Retail Clerk at Dwelling Spaces, and a Graphic Designer at Cherokee Nation Businesses.

Kalyn Fay Barnoski obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Rogers State University in 2012, majoring in Graphic Design. Kalyn Fay then went on to pursue a Master of Arts (MA) from The University of Tulsa in 2016, specializing in Graphic Design and Printmaking. Currently, they are studying for a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Printmaking at the University of Arkansas, which they are expected to complete in 2021.
