Gérard Zuber

Gérard Zuber has extensive experience in aerosol technology and nicotine-containing products, currently serving as Head of Aerosol Technology at Philip Morris International since September 2008, where prior roles included Manager and Staff Scientist in various capacities related to product design and system innovation. Zuber's career began in research and academia, with positions at Duke University and the University of Fribourg, complemented by teaching organic and general chemistry at the Ecole Professionnelle Artisanale et Industrielle in Fribourg. Zuber's education includes a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry and a diploma in Physical & Inorganic Chemistry from the Université de Fribourg, as well as an Engineer’s Degree in Chemical Engineering. Early professional experiences included internships in computational chemistry, support process engineering, and organic chemistry across prominent companies like Merck Serono and Ciba.
