Juan José Daboub

Dr. Juan José Daboub, Ph.D., has been serving as the Chairman, President and CEO of The Daboub Partnership, a business consulting company, since 2010. He has been the Vice Chairman of The Dorado Group LLC, a private investment company, since 2014, and the Adviser and Founding CEO of the Global Adaptation Institute, a foundation dedicated to the understanding of climate change, since 2010. Since 1989, he has co-owned several companies in Latin America, including companies involving food production, biodegradable packaging materials manufacturing, and the distribution of internationally known brands. From 2012 to 2014, Dr. Daboub was Chair of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Climate Change and Managing Director of the World Bank Group from 2006 to 2010. From 1992 to 2004, Dr. Daboub held several senior positions within the government of El Salvador, including as Minister of Finance and Chief-of-Staff to the President. Dr. Daboub is currently serving as a board member of K&M Advisors, a finance and technical advisory firm, Tortoise Acquisition Corp. II, a special purpose acquisition company in the sustainable energy sector, and Grupo Financiero Ficohsa, S.A., a Central American bank.
