Kory McDonald

Kory McDonald is an experienced professional in external affairs and market access within the pharmaceutical and health sectors. Currently serving as Head of External Affairs for Canada at Philip Morris International, Kory is focused on advancing a smoke-free future while being a member of the Canadian Management Team. Previously, Kory held various key roles at Bayer, culminating as Vice President & Head of Market Access and Government Affairs, responsible for patient access across a diverse portfolio. Kory's career includes significant positions such as Director of Market Access and Federal Government Affairs at Bayer, Assistant Vice President at the Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association, and President of a government relations consulting firm. Kory's foundational experiences also include serving as Executive Director of the Natural Health Product Manufacturers of Canada and a research analyst at a prominent lobbying firm. Kory holds a Master of Social Science in Political Science from the University of Cape Town and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Political Science from the University of Alberta.
