Rohit Ghiya

Rohit Ghiya is a seasoned data science professional with diverse experience across multiple industries, currently serving as Principal Data Scientist at Philip Morris International since October 2022. Prior to this role, Rohit worked as Senior Data Scientist in Financial Crime & Reg Tech at ING and as Lead Data Scientist at Capgemini, where notable achievements included winning a global data science challenge and developing a machine learning platform for smallholder farmers in Kenya. Rohit also held positions at L Brands, dunnhumby, Mu Sigma, and GE Global Research, contributing significantly to analytics, predictive modeling, and optimization projects. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science and an ongoing Master of Science in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning from Georgia Institute of Technology.
