Hector Manuel Jon Brizuela

Hector Manuel Jon Brizuela, EnP, currently serves as the Manager for Programs and Initiatives at the Resilience and Sustainability for Empowerment Foundation, Inc., leading all initiatives and operations since December 2023. Previously, Brizuela held the position of Manager for Pipeline Engagement Programs at Philippine Transmarine Carriers, Inc., focusing on the RISE Program funded by German aid agencies since January 2021. As a University Faculty member at Mapúa University until January 2024, Brizuela delivered courses in social sciences and contributed to curricular development, while also overseeing the Languages, Humanities, and Social Sciences Cluster at the Mapua Senior High School. Brizuela's experience includes roles such as Chief Learning Officer at Geographic Innovations for Development Solutions, Inc., and Policy Focal Person for DRRM, S&T, and ICT at the Policy Reform Office, Office of Senator Grace Poe. Brizuela holds a Bachelor of Science in Development Communication from the University of the Philippines Los Baños and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Philippine Studies at the University of the Philippines Diliman.
