Alexander van Boetzelaer

Alexander van Boetzelaer serves as Chief of Staff to the CEO and Head of Strategy at Philips since December 2019, where responsibilities include shaping and implementing the strategic direction for various business sectors, as well as leading Philips Ventures. Prior experience at RELX Group from October 2006 to December 2019 includes roles such as Executive Vice President Strategy and Managing Director for various divisions of Elsevier, focusing on strategic direction, customer-centric transformations, and development of B2B information solutions. Earlier experience at Booz Allen Hamilton involved corporate strategy development and organizational design. Alexander holds a BA/MA in Law and History from Leiden University.
