Emma Furniss

Emma Furniss is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in human resources and organizational leadership. Currently serving as the Head of People Health Systems Businesses and Precision Diagnosis at Philips since January 2015, Emma also holds the position of Global Head of Learning and Talent Innovation, overseeing Philips University and talent management initiatives. Emma's prior roles include Head of HR for Innovation and Strategy, HR Business Partner for Population Health Management, and HR Strategic Project Manager at Philips, as well as a Senior Associate at Strategy& and Booz & Company. Emma began an academic career as a Leverhulme Trust Research Fellow at the University of Leiden. Emma holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, a D.Phil. in Sixteenth-century Spanish history from the University of Oxford, an M.Phil. in Historical Studies from the University of Cambridge, and a BA (Hons) in Modern History from the University of Oxford.
