Martin Thomas

Martin Thomas is the Head of Total Workforce Management at Philips. Prior to this role, they were the Global Head of Talent Acquisition at Philips Lighting. In this role, they led a team of c90 comprising Recruitment Marketing, Sourcing, Operations and Delivery teams globally with core locations in Netherlands, USA, China, Singapore & India.

Previously, Martin was the Head of Resourcing & Talent Transformation at BBC. In this role, they were responsible for Organisation Design, process re-engineering, ATS system selection and the re-location of HR CoE’s (ER, Reward, Resourcing, Internal Comms, Diversity & Inclusion) to a new HR Service Centre in Birmingham. Martin also rebuilt the relationship and delivered service improvement programme with incumbent RPO and led Re-procurement of recruitment process outsourcing contract worth c£30m.

Martin Thomas studied archaeology at the University of Southampton, graduating with a BA Hons.
